Hello MP Market Goers!
🎊 One Last Market – Celebrating 30 Wonderful Years Together! 🎊
This Saturday marks our final Mineral Point Market of the season — and the close of our 30th year serving this incredible community! From our early days to today’s bustling market mornings, it’s been three decades of farm-fresh food, friendly faces, and the simple joy of gathering together in the park.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone year so special. Whether you came each week for your favorite bread, veggies, or handmade treasures — or just stopped by for a chat and a smile — your support means the world to our vendors and to this market family.
Join us one last time this Saturday to celebrate the close of our 30th season! Stock up on all your favorite market staples — eggs, honey, meats, baked goods, veggies, and artisan creations — and help us wrap up this remarkable year with warmth and gratitude.

Aaron’s Peppers
Would like to share an idea that’s been percolating for a while now – overwintering the HOT peppers.
Overwintering is the process of bringing an outdoor plant indoors to keep it alive through the winter months.
Why overwinter peppers?
👉 It certainly will be a time saver – not having to replant every year.
👉Plants with more established root systems are ready to put their energy into fruit production. So they should start producing weeks before transplants started from seed. (This year, the very 1st ripe, fiery red Brazilian Starfish pepper was harvested September 10.)
It varies with the source but some plants might be able to stay alive for as long as 5 years.
Success isn’t guaranteed but they are perennials. . . .So why not give it a try?
Stop by in 2026 to check on the results of the HOT pepper experiment.
Meanwhile, Brazilian Starfish Peppers will be available, this last week – of the 30 th season.
Thanks for making the Mineral Point Market “YOUR Saturday Morning Tradition!”

Wow, can you believe it’s the final Market of the season? Where did the time go? First of all I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who supported not only me, but all of the vendors at the Market this season. It’s always nice to see so many people out supporting all of the local producers at the Market.
The forecast looks great for the final Market and I hope to see you there. I will have lots of local, raw honey available in various sizes, as well as our farm fresh, pasture raised, free ranging chicken and duck eggs. If you aren’t able to make it to the Market this weekend, don’t worry, I will have honey and eggs available for pick up at our farm throughout the fall and winter. If there is anything you need, please feel free to reach out and let me know what I can help you with. Hope to see you under the water tower on Saturday!
Thanks,

Thank you for a wonderful market season! 💐 We won’t be at any more markets this year as the flowers slow down and our fall weekends get busy with other responsibilities. For now, we’re soaking up the final blooms before the cooler temperatures arrive and leaving the flowers for the pollinators to enjoy too. 🌼 🐝 As one season winds down, we’re already busy preparing flower beds and planting bulbs for even more blooms to share next year! Follow along with us on our Facebook page to see what’s happening this fall to prepare for more flowers next spring! 🌱✨🌸

Shooting Star Farm
It’s the last Market of the year! How did that happen? The 2025 growing season had it’s share of challenges with a cool spring, followed by weeks of hot, humid, wet weather, and a fall drought (again with lots of heat). But overall, most crops did just fine and you came to buy them. Thank you!! For this last Market, I will bring what I can including some mixed lettuce heads, gorgeous red and orange sweet peppers, leeks, kale, kohlrabi, Swiss chard, colorful carrots, green cabbage, salad turnips, beets, onions, hot peppers, a variety of winter squash (including lots of honey nut), possibly some herbs, spinach, and a very small amount of salad mix. Quantities are winding down, but you may be able to find a few of my crops at Staple and Fancy, and of course Café 43 and Popolo. At least until everything freezes. I’ll be spending the next several weeks cleaning up landscape fabric, fenceposts, drip irrigation lines, plus repairing hoophouses, pulling plants, and prepping hoophouse beds for spring planting. Seeding starts in February. Have a wonderful fall and winter. I’m hoping for skiing weather – that means snow. Lots of snow. See you around town! – Jenny
