Open Saturday, July 27th, 8:30-11am in Water Tower Park

Hello MP Market Goers!

Join us this Saturday in Water Tower Park as we proudly showcase the incredible talents of our community’s artists at the Mineral Point Market. Each week our local artists present their unique creations, adding a vibrant tapestry of creativity to our market.

The Mineral Point Market is not just a “farmers market” but a celebration of creativity and local talent, offering you the opportunity to discover and support the artists who call our community home.

This Saturday we’ll have 3 artists in attendance: Renewed Traditions, selling wonderfully crafted individual and unique old fashioned hand woven rag rugs. WWB Studios, features watercolor pencil and colored pencil drawings reflecting scenes from around the Driftless area. And Love & Hugs from Lauri whose crocheted items bring joy and comfort to all who have them.

Come meet these talented individuals, explore their works, and perhaps find that perfect piece to adorn your home or gift to a loved one. Let’s come together to celebrate art, culture, and the richness of our local artistic community.

Join us Saturday and fill your day with art, inspiration, and community spirit at the Mineral Point Market! We look forward to seeing you there.

Driftless Farms
We’re back again this Saturday!
8-Generations Strong! Driftless Farms LLC is a local, family-owned business specializing in the production of 100% pure, certified organic maple syrup known as Driftless Gold. From sap collection to syrup production to marketing and distribution, family members are directly involved in every step of the process. Our goal is to deliver reliably high-quality syrup to our customers while enhancing and deepening our children’s connection to our 8‑generation family farm in the heart of the Driftless Region. Our family actively manages for a diverse and healthy forest community. At Driftless Farms, we are proud to continue the legacy of land stewardship passed down by our pioneering ancestors.
Our Grade A certified organic maple syrup is available in three grades: Amber Rich, Dark Robust, and Very Dark Strong. Richly flavored Amber Rich offers a sweet, rich taste and serves well as a delectable topping; think oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and ice cream. Dark Robust is known for its full-bodied flavor. This flavorsome favorite is lovely on pancakes, in coffee as a sweetener, and is fantastic as a glaze. Let’s not forget our Very Dark Strong option. This product boasts being the strongest of the maple flavors; a shining favorite when used as an ingredient in baked goods, granola, and so much more. Here at Driftless Farm we believe our customers should be able to consistently choose their favorite of the flavors.

Our Homestead formerly Magic Light Photography
Thank you to everyone who came out to the market last weekend! I will not be at the market this weekend. With a few egg sales at the farm this week, I don’t have enough inventory to come to the market. I will have some chicken and duck eggs available at the farm or if needed I can deliver in Mineral Point. If time allows, and the bees cooperate, I will be back at the market soon with raw local honey! Keep an eye on the Our Homestead FB page for more updates!
Thanks,

Shooting Star Farm
I’ve been warning of lettuce and salad mix supplies for the past few weeks, and although I have been short, I’ve managed to come through with a decent amount of both the past few Saturdays. This Saturday will be extra limited – but not entirely absent, either. On the other hand, carrots are back! I have a beautiful crop of green top (bunched) carrots from the field. Cherry tomatoes are rolling in nicely, and red slicers, heirlooms, and saladettes will be more plentiful. Other items I plan to harvest include red beets, white onions, sweet bell and frying peppers, jalapeno, poblano peppers, and shishito peppers (so many peppers
). Also, green beans, green cabbage, curly kale, lacinato kale, Swiss chard, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant (Japanese, Italian, AND Turkish), cilantro, dill, sage, parsley, and basil. I’m still looking for Saturday morning help if you or someone you know is interested. I do apologize for the longer wait times these past few weeks, and so appreciate your patience! See you Saturday!

Sunny Side Down
Sunny Side Down will be at the market on Saturday!
The cucumbers are finally here which means our first batch of Pickles are finally ready for market this weekend!
Find these and all your favorites on Saturday!
You can preorder for easy pickup on our website. Or just come to the market – we will have all your favorite Artisan Bread, Fresh Pies, those amazing cookies, donuts, & sweet breads! ssdfarm.com
