Thanks for Another Great Season in the Park!

Hello MP Market Goers!

That’s it folks! It’s been another amazing year of Saturday mornings in the park! We managed to eek out an extra Saturday this year in the park as well as in our fields making it a great season.

Thank you so much for supporting the market and its’ vendors!

As you settle in to another Wisconsin winter and holiday season, make note that many of our vendors have great gifts as well as tasty treats that can still be purchased either directly through their websites/facebook pages or at local stores. Scroll down to find out what’s available throughout the winter.

Thanks again for making 2024 a great year in the park! Hope to see you back in 2025!

Bures Berry Patch
Thanks so much for joining us this season in the Park! We’re so grateful for your support of our farm and family! The Patch will be CLOSED this winter due to a less than usual number of chickens, but we hope next spring to be back to full egg production. Throughout the winter we’ll be spending time championing our kids in their endeavors and planning for our 23rd year in the business of growing fresh fruits and vegetables. For more information, head to our website, Facebook, or Instagram account, or give us a call at 608-924-1404. Hope to see you back in the Park next spring! Farmer Kathy and Farmer Ed

The Cornish Baker
Hi Market Friends! Follow our Facebook page to see when and what we’ll be offering for the upcoming holiday season. 🍁 🦃 🎄
We had a wonderful time chatting with many of you at the Market and are looking forward to seeing you all again next year! 😊
We are a mother and daughter baking team with Cornish heritage specializing in Cornish tea biscuits, Cornish figgyhobbin, Cornish saffron breads, and 9″ full-size pies filled with 3+ cups of homemade filling! We also offer gourmet jumbo-size muffins and jumbo cinnamon rolls topped with REAL cream cheese frosting. All of our items are homemade from scratch using premium ingredients.
We are blessed to be able to bake from home under Wisconsin’s Cookie Bill. We have been baking for many years and have decided to share them with you!
We started at the Mineral Point Market in late July 2022. Our time there greatly exceeded our expectations and we have continued with special orders and events since. 😊
You can place a special order with us or reserve items from our Mineral Point Market list at thepropercornishbaker@gmail.com or through Facebook Messenger @thecornishbaker.

Farmer’s Daughter Bakery and Kitchen
Hello market friends!
Wow… what a season! Thank You all so much for coming out each weekend and seeing all of us. Your support of our farms, bakeries, greenhouses, workshops and businesses is amazing! We truly appreciate every one of you.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page; @FDBOnTopOfHillcrest; to see what the kids are up to (Sam and Carly and the goats… 🙄😆) and what we’re doing in the kitchen over the winter.
We’ll see you all soon!
Becky, Sam, Carly and Helen

Hook’s Corner Greenhouse
We would like to thank everyone for there support this market season. See you next season with bedding plants in May!

Laxey Creek Sheep Ranch
Laxey Creek Sheep Ranch is restocking the freezer in November to be ready for all your winter meals. We thank you for supporting us during our second market season.
Lamb cuts are available year-round by appointment at the farm or from Cathryn’s Market in Dodgeville.
We are taking orders for half and whole lambs, which is about $100 savings compared to buying the same quantity of our retail cuts.
Our animals are grass-fed, which means they graze lush pastures all summer and high quality stored forage in the winter. They live in a low-stress environment with livestock guardian dogs who keep predators away, and see the shepherd every day when he makes the rounds to check that they are still on prime pasture.

Marr’s Valley View Farms
We are truly thankful for your support throughout the 2024 Market season.
We have three ways for you to purchase now that the market is over, however please note we are sold out of several of our products so the best way to know what’s still available is to purchase through our website.
Here’s how to order online:
* Go to our website – marrsvvfmeats.com
* Set up your account if you don’t have one yet.
* Click on Pickup Location at the top of the home page.
* Select Mineral Point Market as your location.
* Select Shop for Mineral Point Market.
* Place your order!
* After placing your order, you will receive an ‘estimate’ total. Once your order is packed you will receive an email with the actual total due. Payment is made via cash or check when you receive your order.
* We will then work with you to make arrangements for getting your order to you.
* Simple! 😀
2. Next best way to order is to email your order to us at marrsvvfmeats@gmail.com. Make sure to include the product name(s) and quantity you want to order. We will get back to you with any questions and advise when your order is ready to be picked up.
3. Lastly, call us or text your order to 608-574-2899.
Have a great fall and holiday season.

Our Homestead formerly Magic Light Photography
I would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported not only me, but all of the wonderful market vendors this year! Just because we won’t be meeting at the park on Saturday morning doesn’t mean that you can’t still get our farm fresh, pasture raised eggs, and our local, raw honey! Both of these will be available going into winter and can be picked up at the farm. I may also be able to make deliveries in Mineral Point, and possible Dodgeville. We also have a few of our recycled feed bag totes available. As we stock up on feed for the winter, we may be creating some new totes with different designs so look for those in the future. I haven’t talked much about my photography this season, but that doesn’t mean my photo cards aren’t still available, because they are! All of my cards are now being sold at Sullivan’s located at 303 Commerce Street in Mineral Point. All of my cards are blank inside and can be used for any occasion! You can follow the Our Homestead Facebook page to see what’s happening at our little farm!
Thanks,
Mike

PJ’s Poultry
PJ’s Poultry will have chicken and eggs available for pickup at the farm this coming winter. Our chicken inventory will be mostly everything we sell during the summer. We don’t raise birds during the winter, so some cuts sell out faster than others do (boneless breasts go the quickest).
Give us a call Jennifer 608-642-4005 or Perry 608-642-0818 call or text. Facebook Messenger works as well. Email us at: pjs.poultry.llc@gmail.com

Preston Creek Soapery

Rural Roots
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported us this season—it’s been a true joy to see the happiness our flowers brought to the market! While there aren’t any flowers available over the winter months, follow along on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/RuralRootsWI, for the latest updates on what’s in the works for the 2025 season.

Shooting Star Farm
The last Mineral Point Market is in the rear-view mirror and it was a good one! The unseasonably warm weather is telling us “there must be more”, but the calendar tells us it’s time to be done. Although this mild fall has made going to market especially pleasant lately, we vendors know that our customers are not just fair-weather friends. You’ve shown up through rain, wind, frost, and even sleet (more than once). I love seeing you each and every week and truly appreciate your support for my little farm. Have a wonderful fall and a beautiful holiday season. I’m hoping for snow. Lots of snow. See you around town! – Jenny

Sunny Side Down
We have had a wonderful season at the Mineral Point Market!
Starting in November, we offer Free Delivery every Saturday, all winter long! We will have all the details on ordering on our website ssdfarm.com
as well as our Facebook page @sunnysidedownfarm.
Thank you so much everyone for supporting this market!

WWB Studio
Hello Mineral Point Market goers. I had a great year of meeting new people, catching up with the ‘regulars’ and spending time with the other vendors. The holiday season is coming – the stores are already in colors and stock – and I would be happy to be added to your list of gift-giving. I do not have a web site or face book page, but would be happy to have you visit my studio or have me come to you to choose a drawing or note cards. We live in Platteville, so if you are coming this way, call and I will give you directions, or likewise if you wish me to come to you, call and give me directions or a convenient meeting place. I will be at the Gallery Night in Mineral Point on Saturday, December 7 in the lobby of Café 43 from 4-9.
Also, if you get a chance, special kudos to Kathy and Jenny for their efforts to make the Mineral Point Market a destination!!!
