Open Saturday, July 6th, 8:30-11a in Water Tower Park

Hello MP Market Goers!

We hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July and maybe we’ll see each other on High Street Thursday night, before we see you Saturday at the Market.

Have you met our new fresh cut flower vendor yet?

Mandy  – Rural Roots – of Dodgeville is new to our market this season. She has a beautiful line of locally grown fresh cut seasonal flowers.

Did you know that local flowers are typically harvested closer to their peak bloom, ensuring they are fresher and longer-lasting compared to flowers that have been shipped over long distances. This results in brighter colors, firmer petals, and overall better quality.đŸ€©

Mandy offers seasonal variety that reflect the natural cycles of the region, offering a diverse array of blooms throughout the year. This variety allows you to enjoy different flowers depending on the season, promoting a deeper connection to nature and the local environment.

Plus, getting your flowers locally is truly beneficial to the environment. From local growers using fewer chemicals and pesticides than their large-scale counterparts, to local flower farms creating biodiversity for bees.🐝

It’s a win, win, win, win to grab some flowers from a local grower. So stop up Saturday and check out all Mandy has to offer! They’re guaranteed to be beautiful, fresh, and smile inducing!😍💐

Here is a partial list of items at this week’s market:

Beef, Pork, Chicken, Bacon, Brats, Burgers, Eggs, Cheese, Honey, Maple Syrup, Artisan Breads, Coffee, Sweet and Savory Baked Goods, Sweet Corn, Potatoes, Salad Mix, Baby Lettuce Heads, Cucumbers, Zucchini & Summer Squash, Carrots, Beets, Cilantro, Dill, Parsley, Basil, Endive, Kale, Green Cabbage, Fresh Garlic, Fennel, Pickles, Soup, Fresh Cut Flowers, Jam, Houseplants, Quilted Tote Bags, Crocheted Items, and much more. Richly flavored Amber Rich offers a sweet, rich taste and serves well as a delectable topping; think oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and ice cream. Dark Robust is known for its full-bodied flavor. This flavorsome favorite is lovely on pancakes, in coffee as a sweetener, and is fantastic as a glaze. Let’s not forget our Very Dark Strong option.
