Open Saturday, May 23rd, 8:30-11a in Water Tower Park

Hello MP Market Goers!

It’s shaping up to be a busy weekend in Mineral Point — Memorial Day celebrations, graduation parties, family gatherings, and the unofficial kickoff to summer!🎓☀️

Mineral Point Memorial Day Schedule:
10:30 a.m. • Memorial Day Parade down High Street
Immediately following the parade • Memorial Ceremony at Library Park
11 a.m. • Chicken BBQ Curbside Lunch at the American Legion on 9th Street

We hope you get out and enjoy every bit of it. But before the weekend gets away from you, don’t forget to stop by the Mineral Point Market on Saturday morning.

Because even with all the celebrating… you’re still going to need something to eat come Tuesday 😉

And if you’re hosting this weekend? The market is the perfect place to pick up a few things to make your gathering extra special:
🥬 Fresh greens and seasonal produce
🥖 Homemade breads
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs and locally raised meats
🌷 Fresh flowers to brighten your table
🍪 Sweet treats for sharing (or keeping for yourself — we won’t judge!)

It’s also a great excuse to slow down for a bit before the busy weekend begins. Grab a coffee, stroll the park, catch up with neighbors, and enjoy a beautiful Saturday morning with us.

🕣 Saturday, 8:30–11:00am
📍 Water Tower Park
Local. Fresh. Convenient.

We can’t wait to see you at the market 💛

Warmly,
Kathy

To help get you started, we offer a $20 stipend to support your time at market — think of it as a little boost to your busking earnings.
👉Follow the link to sign up. We can’t wait to hear you perform — thank you!

Happy Memorial Day and graduation weekend! It’s going to be a busy weekend for a lot of us with graduation, graduation parties and Memorial Day activities, but don’t let that stop you from visiting the Market on Saturday! If you’re looking for something unique for your Memorial Day BBQ, or something special for your graduation party, the Market is the perfect place to find it!
I’ll be back again this weekend with lots of farm fresh chicken and duck eggs! I’ll also have local, raw honey available. The hens are laying like crazy, and the bees are busy visiting lots of flowers and are starting to make a fresh batch of honey!
Did you know that it takes approximately 2 million flowers for bees to make a single pound of honey? Collectively, bees will fly about 55,000 miles to create 1 pound of honey. That’s like flying around the circumference of the earth, twice! A single worker honey bee only produces about 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in her entire lifetime!
Thanks,
Mike

WWB Studio
Wayne Banaszak taught drawing and painting and graphic design to students grade one through adults in the public schools for over thirty years. He is now sharing his artistic talents through his original watercolor pencil drawings of rural scenes from the Driftless Area of Wisconsin as well as various other subjects that complement his style of drawing. Many of the original drawings have been turned into note cards which he markets locally. New to his note card collection is a line of interesting sayings and words of wisdom. All of these will be on display at the market. It is his intention to attend all Saturday markets weather permitting. Rain and paper do not get along, so he will not be in attendance on rainy, humid days.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday in Water Tower Park, Business Hwy 151 at Madison Street, Mineral Point! 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
