Now Closed – Opening Day 2024 is May 4th

We are always sad to say goodbye to another season of market in the park. Thanks so much for supporting us this season! Our vendors greatly appreciate your commitment to supporting local farms, families, bakers, and artisans.

Unfortunately, we won’t be moving the market indoors this season. However, MANY of our vendors continue to have items available throughout the winter! So, whether you need something for a warm and cozy dinner or a lazy Saturday morning breakfast, scroll down to see what’s still available from our bakers and farm vendors. Or if you’re looking for some gifts for the holidays, our local artisans would love to help you find that perfect gift, scroll down to find out how to get in touch with them!

We hope you have a wonderful winter filled with laughter, love, and great food! Thanks again for all you do to support the market!

We look forward to seeing you again in May!

Aaron’s Peppers

Wanted to share with you a new resource to explore. The Official Cookbook of the Chile Pepper Institute published March 15, 2023 features unique recipes developed at New Mexico State University, based on chile peppers grown at the CPI* Teaching Garden (the world’s only garden dedicated to chile peppers). The recipes were all created and selected based on each chile pepper’s location; traditional uses; country of origin; exploration of species and varieties; and different ways peppers can be prepared. *Chile Pepper Institute

Just Poured Candle Co.

Hope to be back next season, thanks for a great year!  My name is Holly Adams, and I created Just Poured Candle Co. in 2022 with the support of my family and husband David, a Mineral Point native. Why? Well, I love candles and I love to make things. As a full-time caregiver for my husband, who suffered a C4 spinal cord injury and stroke in 2016, I found candle making as a creative outlet to help relieve everyday stress and fulfill a passion.
My mission is simple. Provide hand-crafted, non-toxic candles that add warmth and inspiration to any room. All my candles are made from 100% soy wax, from soybeans grown in the United States. I also do not use any dyes or additives, and only high-quality fragrance oils that do not contain parabens or phthalates. In addition to making candles, I make several other all natural products as well. Some of my other products include room sprays, bug & tick repellent, and lip balm.

Laxey Creek Sheep Ranch

Laxey Creek Sheep Ranch has finished the market season. We thank all of you for supporting us during our first market season!
* We are taking orders for half and whole lambs – $7.90/lb hanging weight, which is about $100 savings compared to buying the same quantity of our retail cuts.
* We will continue selling grass-fed lamb cuts and brats, grass-fed beef, honey, and raw wool from our farm by appointment.
* Our animals are grass-fed and grass-finished, which they graze lush pastures all summer and high quality stored forage in the winter. They live in a low-stress environment with livestock guardian dogs who keep predators away, and see the shepherd every day when he makes the rounds to check that they are still on prime pasture.

Shooting Star Farm

Hello Market-goers! It’s been an amazing Market season with great customers, vendors, musicians, and weather that cooperated most every Saturday. We are all enjoying this wonderful, warm week, but it looks like the bottom is about to drop out. It’s time to wrap up Markets for the year. I will not be doing the Market this Saturday, nor will I be offering online ordering this week. I will be using the time to put things to bed before the hard freeze that’s coming our way. As many of you know, I often have additional products even after a hard freeze, and if that’s the case again this season,  I will offer products for sale through my website. I will box them up, and drop at a central location (with a minimum order).  I will update the site next week and send out a newsletter to those who are subscribed to my website. Thank you all for your continued support of our wonderful Market and my little farm!  See you around town! Jenny

Sweet Earth Garden and Vintage China

It has been a wonderful experience to provide flowers for the Market; meeting, visiting and sharing tips with patrons. Thank you all so very much to my fellow vendors. It is a lovely group of folks who are dedicated to offering quality goods and foods. A special thanks to Lois, Kathy and Jenny for their hard work and excellent leadership. Our market would not exist without you. Thank you for all the support and encouragement- I hope I returned the favor as I was always so proud to be a part of this special market.
Farewell and warmest wishes to you all…. I will be back as a customer and will miss our Saturday mornings together.
My best wishes,
Barbara Manion-Platt

We look forward to seeing you next spring in Water Tower Park, Business Hwy 151 at Madison Street, Mineral Point!
