Opening Day is HERE! Join us this Saturday, May 2nd, 8:30-11am in Water Tower Park!🥳🥳

Hello MP Market Goers!

🌱 It’s Finally HERE! — Opening Day at the Mineral Point Market! 🌱

This Saturday, May 2nd from 8:30–11:00am, we’re back in Water Tower Park and ready to kick off a brand new season of fresh food, friendly faces, and everything you’ve been missing all winter long.

That first market morning of the year is always amazing — the smell of fresh baked bread, the first greens of the season, the colors of spring, and the buzz of neighbors reconnecting after a long winter.

Here’s just a taste of what you’ll find this Saturday:
🍩 Sugarface Donuts – made on site, hot and mouth watering sugared donuts
🥕 Shooting Star Farm – fresh greens, radishes, baby bok choy & more
🍗🧀 PJ’s Poultry – frozen chicken & local cheese
🌷 Rural Roots Flower Farm – beautiful tulip bouquets
🌸 Cafe 43 – hot coffee & espresso drinks, egg burritos, delicious croissants, & baked goods

And that’s just the beginning — more of your favorite farmers, bakers, and makers will be there to welcome you back.

Whether you’re coming for your weekly staples or just to soak in that first taste of spring, grab a bag, bring a friend, and start your Saturday with us.

💛 Come early for the best selection!

See you in the park Saturday,
Kathy

Our Homestead formerly Magic Light Photography
Welcome back to the Market! Spring has been a busy season here at Our Homestead.
I have been spending a lot of time in the bee yard preparing the bees for the upcoming honey season. While we are still a long way from having a new supply, the bees are in great shape and ready for the nectar flow.
Our hens have also been very active this spring, keeping us well-stocked with farm-fresh eggs. Of course, because we let them roam free, they have also been busy hiding eggs all over the property!
This week at the market I will be well stocked with chicken and duck eggs. I will also have plenty of honey on hand to kick off the first Market of the season!
I hope to see you Saturday morning! If you can’t wait until Saturday, or you won’t be able to make it, honey and eggs are available for pick up at the farm. Feel free to message me to make arrangements.
Thanks,
Mike
