Shooting Star Farm

It’s been a normal summer week here. Tomatoes are at their peak. I’ll have larger quantities available on my website and a few extra cases at Market. Straight to the harvest: Still a little short on lettuce this week, but I should have more salad mix and a limited amount of arugula, plus a few heads of green butter lettuce to go along with the baby heads. For tomatoes, look for cherry (red, sungold, and colorful mixed pints), red, roma, and heirloom types. I will also have bunched carrots, bunched amaranth greens, kale, eggplants (3 types), bell peppers, Italian frying peppers, shishito peppers, jalapeno & poblano peppers, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini and summer squash, beets (red and other colors), a few white onions (yellows and reds need to cure), fennel, baby bok choy, dill seed heads, basil, cilantro, and whatever else looks good. Pre-order for Market pick-up here. See you Saturday!
