Just Poured Candle Co.

My name is Holly Adams, and I created Just Poured Candle Co. in 2022 with the support of my family and husband David, a Mineral Point native. Why? Well, I love candles and I love to make things. As a full-time caregiver for my husband, who suffered a C4 spinal cord injury and stroke in 2016, I found candle making as a creative outlet to help relieve everyday stress and fulfill a passion.
My mission is simple. Provide hand-crafted, non-toxic candles that add warmth and inspiration to any room. All my candles are made from 100% soy wax, from soybeans grown in the United States. I also do not use any dyes or additives, and only high-quality fragrance oils that do not contain parabens or phthalates. In addition to making candles, I make several other all natural products as well. Some of my other products include room sprays, bug & tick repellent, and lip balm.
Mineral Point Market Dates: May 13th , June 10th , July 8th , August 12th , & September 9th

Shooting Star Farm

Looks to be a sunny and pleasant day for this Saturday’s Market. My message of the week is to eat your salads! Plenty of lettuce is sizing up in the hoophouse. In addition to baby heads, I’ll have large, gorgeous heads of green and red butter lettuce. There are lots of recipes that call specifically for butter lettuce for its soft texture and mild flavor. I love it with avocados. Spinach is ready from the field. This is a flat-leave, mild variety. Not baby, not big, but versatile. I will also have red and French breakfast radishes, salad turnips (somewhat limited), the last of the hoophouse bok choy (so good), Swiss chard, salad mix, and baby arugula. I will be bringing some rhubarb as well. Mine is an old-fashioned green variety. Not very gorgeous, but it does the job. Lastly, I still have certified organic tomato, basil, and pepper plants for sale. A few varieties have sold out, but still plenty to choose from. You can see plant descriptions here. Also, you can pre-order for Market pick-up from Wednesday 6pm until Thursday 6pm. See website for details. See you Saturday!

Sweet Earth Garden and Vintage China

Hello, Sweet Earth Gardens will be at the market this week. Will have Tulips. Allium, some Gerberas and Dahlias. Enjoy this glorious weather.
