Welcome to Water Tower Park! We have something new for you this year. Wayne was an art teacher for 33 years and has decided to go back to his roots of drawing. He has taken up watercolor pencils and some great outdoor subjects to sketch. Also new this year are engraved tumblers and mugs. Many will be engraved with general titles and logos, while others will be waiting for your personal requests. They come in six different colors for you to choose from. Cheese boards will be available with some engraved and some waiting for your personal requests. We look forward to a great spring, summer, fall in the park and seeing many familiar faces.

My name is Holly Adams, and I created Just Poured Candle Co. in 2022 with the support of my family and husband David, a Mineral Point native. Why? Well, I love candles and I love to make things. As a full-time caregiver for my husband, who suffered a C4 spinal cord injury and stroke in 2016, I found candle making as a creative outlet to help relieve everyday stress and fulfill a passion.
My mission is simple. Provide hand-crafted, non-toxic candles that add warmth and inspiration to any room. All my candles are made from 100% soy wax, from soybeans grown in the United States. I also do not use any dyes or additives, and only high-quality fragrance oils that do not contain parabens or phthalates. In addition to making candles, I make several other all natural products as well. Some of my other products include room sprays, bug & tick repellent, and lip balm.

The Wisconsin Cookie Bill has enabled me to express my passion for baking. I will be making a variety of fresh baked homemade goodies for Saturday including: Cornish Tea Biscuits, Peanut Bars, Caramel Pecan Rolls, Scones, Variety of Sweet Breads, Cookies, Favored Angel Food Cakes, Cakes, Cupcakes and a variety of Pies.

What a great first Market. Thanks for coming out despite the somewhat chilly, damp day! Looks to be a similarly cloudy day this Saturday, but much warmer. Hopefully lingering kind of weather. This week I’ll have a similar selection to last week with a few add-ons. Here’s the planned harvest: salad mix, baby arugula, gorgeous mini bok choy heads, bunched salad turnips, Swiss chard bunches, a limited selection of mini lettuce heads, and some green garlic. You can also pick up certified organic tomato, pepper, and basil transplants. I’ll bring a selection with me to Market along with pictures and descriptions. If you’d like to reserve plants in advance or pre-order produce for Market pickup, you can do so at my website.
