Open Saturday, June 7th, 8:30-11am in Watertower Park

Hello MP Market Goers!

Looking for a fun way to get the kids involved this summer? The Mineral Point Market is more than just shopping — it’s a chance to explore, learn, and create lasting memories with the whole family. Plus, there’s a playground and picnic tables right in the park — perfect for a snack break or some after-market fun!

🧺 Try a farmers market scavenger hunt:
Challenge your kids to find items by color, texture, or type. “Something red,” “something leafy,” “something you’ve never tried before” — it’s a great way to engage and educate while you shop!

👨‍🍳 Let them help in the kitchen:
Have your kids pick out a veggie or fruit, then get them involved in washing, prepping, or even taste-testing a new recipe. It’s a great way to build healthy habits (and a little kitchen confidence).

🎉 And don’t miss our newest vendors — Ollie & Cleo!

We’re so excited to welcome our first kid vendors of the season! Ollie & Cleo sell homemade slime — fun for play and surprisingly helpful for cleaning tricky spots in your car or home.

🥗 Try This Easy Beet & Dill Salad
This fresh, seasonal recipe is simple enough for kids to help make — and it’s delicious!

Roasted Beet & Dill Salad

3–4 medium beets, roasted & cubed
1–2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: Add crumbled feta or sliced red onion

Mix everything together, chill for 30 mins, and enjoy! It’s sweet, tangy, and totally market-fresh.

📍 Saturday | 8:30–11:00am
🌳 In the park, rain or shine

See you (and the kids) at market Saturday!

Local. Fresh. Convenient.

Warmly,
Kathy Bures

Ollie’s Slime
Hi! We’re Ollie and Cleo, and we’re both 9 years old. We started this slime business because we LOVE slime.
You can buy our slime at the Mineral Point Market on Saturdays in June. Look for Ollie’s Slime!
June 7, June 14, June 21,and June 28.
We experiment, create, mix, stretch, and squish all the slimes ourselves.
We try fun colors, cool textures, and even add charms. We sell butter slime, cloud slime, thick and glossy slime, and surprise slimes too.
Each one has a fun name and is super fun to play with.
We started this business for something fun to do. Maybe our business will get big and maybe it won’t.
Either way, everyone can have fun with slime. You don’t have to be a kid.
Thanks for checking out our slime!

Shooting Star Farm
It’s always so great to get a nice rain right after getting lots of field work done. Ella, Franny, and I put in all the pepper and tomato plants, a new crop of spinach, herbs, lettuce and salad greens, and even got some hoeing done right before the downpour. Yay! Peas are flowering, carrots are nearly (but not quite) ready, and the cucumber plants are ready to climb up their trellises. Cooler weather means gorgeous greens, and I’ll have lots again this week. For Saturday I plan to harvest bunched beets, kohlrabi, salad turnips, red radishes (limited), cilantro, dill, salad mix, arugula, romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce, mixed mini lettuces, curly and lacinato kale, Swiss chard, green garlic (last week), and spinach. Saturday will be a beautiful day for Market. See you there!
