Hello MP Market Goers!
This Memorial Day weekend, we invite you to pause and appreciate the meaning behind the holiday — a time to remember, reflect, and reconnect.
While you’re planning your gatherings or backyard barbecues, let us help you make things a little easier. Stop by the Mineral Point Market on Saturday for:
🥬 Fresh, seasonal produce
🥚 Local eggs, meats & pantry staples
🥧 And yes — delicious desserts and baked goods from our amazing vendors (because everyone deserves a shortcut to sweet).
Whether you’re honoring loved ones, relaxing with family, or simply soaking up spring — let the market be part of your weekend tradition.
🕗 Join us Saturday from 8:30–11:00am in the park.
Local. Fresh. Convenient.
We can’t wait to see you!
Warmly,
Kathy Bures

Thank you to everyone who came out in the cold wind last week to support all of the local vendors! I’m hoping it’s a little warmer this weekend. It’s going to be a busy weekend with graduation parties, and Memorial Day so plan ahead and get to the Market early if you can. This week I will once again have lots of chicken and duck eggs available. I will also have my local, raw honey in 1/2 pound and 1 pound glass jars. I’m down to my last couple of bottles of maple syrup. Once that is gone, I won’t have any more again until next spring. I will also have shopping totes available. Our totes are upcycled from our chicken and goat feed bags. There are a few different designs to choose from. I hope the weather is a little nicer this weekend and I hope to see you under the water tower!
Thanks,
Mike

Shooting Star Farm
It’s been a chilly and rainy week, throwing a wrench into some outdoor planting plans. However, the two and a half inches of rain were much needed, and warmer weather is right around the corner. Last week’s Market was great in spite of the chill. Thanks to our hardy customers. We really appreciate you! Stop by the Market before your graduation party plans, and you can snag a few new items this week. I hope to harvest the first bunched beets and kohlrabi from the hoophouse. In addition, I should have French breakfast and red radishes, arugula, salad mix, salad turnips, mini lettuce heads, romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce, green butter lettuce, curly kale, lacinato kale, Swiss chard, a bit of spinach, and possibly rhubarb. A random mix of tomato and pepper transplants will be available to purchase as well. See you Saturday! – Jenny
