Shooting Star Farm

I got a total of three-inches of rain Monday and Tuesday this week. It was a bit of a deluge at times, but I am grateful it came after planting some veggies and cover crops the night before. Less hose-dragging and cooler temperatures make for a good work week. New crops are on the verge of coming in, so I may have a smattering of peppers, cucumbers, and broccoli this week. Also: red and multi-color beets, carrots, scallions, lots of lettuces, arugula, salad mix, kale, Swiss chard, zucchini and summer squash, endive, dill, and basil. Sugar snaps are likely done for the year (darn heat), and beans will likely be next week. You can pre-order for Market or farm pick-up here. Ordering window is from 6pm Wednesday through 6pm Thursday. Thanks, and see you Saturday!

Spensley Farm

We’ll have some time off from the market and will return on August 27! In the meantime, if you’d like to place a special order, please reach out to connect@spensleyfarm.com. Enjoy the summer months. Nicole & Steve Bujewski – Spensley Farm – Mineral Point

Sweet Earth Garden and Vintage China

Hope you are all safe from the storms but thankful for the rain. Sweet Earth Gardens will be unable to be at the market this week but we will be back next week.
