Bures Berry Patch
We’re marching through the seasons at the Patch and we are now well into potato season! Baby reds are coming out of the ground fresh each week and we’ve started to dig the German Butterballs (a delicious, golden small potato with incredible flavor)! Plus, it’s pick green bean season! We continue to get rave reviews on our pickled asparagus and our frozen cream of asparagus soup, but we anticipate being sold out of both within the month. Don’t miss out, when they’re gone…they’re gone. Also on our table this week will be; farm fresh eggs, locally produced jam, & pure honey! Can’t make it to market? We’re open at the Patch. For more information, head to our website. Hope to see you Saturday or in the Patch soon! Farmer Kathy and Farmer Ed

Shooting Star Farm
Peas are done and beans are here. My bean patch is on a north slope, so a bit later than usual, but I’m getting a decent amount this week and will have a small haul for market. Cucumbers are also (finally) producing more fruits, and I’ll have a smattering of tomatoes from my half-covered hoophouse. Succession plantings of greens means I still have a nice supply of lettuces, arugula, and salad mix, along with beets, dill, basil, and cilantro. Also look for scallions, a few peppers, beets (red and multi-colored), kale, Swiss chard, zucchini and summer squash.
You can pre-order for Market or farm pick-up here. Ordering window is from 6pm Wednesday through 6pm Thursday. Thanks, and see you Saturday!
