For 25 years now the Mineral Point Market has been serving the Mineral Point community. From fresh produce and local meats to artisan products, and though this year has been a bit different we’re still so happy that this community has supported the market and all its vendors both old and new. Bures Berry Patch
Sweet corn is finally here!!!!😀🌽 This week we will have sweet corn, freshly dug POTATOES, and Ben’s mammoth zucchini! For potatoes we’ll have Baby reds, baking potatoes, German Butterballs, and Fingerlings! All to satisfy your potato needs. We dig our potatoes fresh each week so that they’re super delicious. You can get all this as well as our beautiful sunflowers🌻, farm fresh eggs and Local Honey! Delicious! Want to pre-order for curbside pickup? Our online store is open now for pre-orders. Summer Saturdays…yes, please! Join us at the market for all of your cafe favorites as well as some new surprises!
Sourdough loaves (large,small and baguette) as well as multigrain and gluten-free breads will be available. Several cookies to choose from, croissants and hand pies will be on hand. Shirley always has something up her baking sleeve (you know will be amazing)! Coffee (hot and cold) as well as raspberry lemonade will be served to keep things cool. And of course, our breakfast burritos will be sure to make the most important meal of the day a good one! Feeling like dessert for the whole family? Pre-order one of our pies to satisfy a sweet tooth or two.

Muffins: banana chocolate chip, banana strawberry, lemon blueberry and chocolate zucchini.
Bars and treats: apricot citrus, chocolate toffee, maple pecan, lemon bars, s’mores, orange brownies, creamy peach bars, and peanut butter blondies.
Extras this week will be: English muffin bread in various varieties, good old fashioned cinnamon rolls and some extra goodies you’ll have to come out for!

Thank you for supporting the Mineral Point Farmer’s Market. It is nice to see people out and about. This week we are offering our usual items using pre-order and in person pickup the day of the market. We will also have a few extra items available for direct purchase at the market. Our separate frozen chicken packages include whole, half, leg/thigh or breasts. We will also have farm fresh eggs. We have several varieties of Hooks cheese on hand including pepper jack, muenster, garlic dill jack, pesto jack, brick, baby swiss, bacon, mild and medium cheddar, Colby, marble jack, smoked cheddar, parmesan. tomato basil, triple play, blue and 2, 5, and 8 year. Also three varieties form Brunkow Cheese Company including Brun-nusto baked cheese, kalamato olive cheddar, and mushroom & onion jack. If your order includes cheese, please order by Thursday at 11:00 A.M. All other orders need to be in by Friday at 5:00 p.m. Email your order or questions to pinevalleychix@gmail.com or call 608 987-2245 and leave a message and phone number. We will send you a confirmation email or give you a call with your total bill and directions on how to contact us the day of the market to pick up your products. HOW TO PRE-ORDER FOR PICKUP AT MARKET
Place your order by noon on Friday to allow us time to process it, of course the earlier the better no need to wait until Friday.
* e-mail your order to Mike at marr_michael@yahoo.com or message us on Facebook at Marr’s Valley View Farms and CSA;
* specify product name and desired quantity of packages – example: 1 package of Bone In Pork Chops;
* if you want a specific product size say so – 2.5 to 3 lb. Boneless Chuck Roast – otherwise we will pick for you;
* provide a phone number where you can be reached for questions;
* payment is by check only made out to Valley View Farms;
* we will e-mail or message your order total Friday night by 10:00 p.m. so you can have your check ready at pickup;
* we will set up by the curb below the visitors center – you can drive/walk up and pick up your order and drop off your check for a quick transaction.
NOTE: Please only purchase what you truly need, more is coming, we promise.

If you haven’t tried our Goat’s Milk and Shea Butter soap with quality oils, we invite you to try a bar and see what really good soap with no additives an do for you and your skin!
We have 12 + scents – everything from Lavenders to Summery Fresh, Oatmeal and Honey, and “Earthy” scents that are loved by both men and women.

Shooting Star Farm
Thanks to everyone who has been pre-ordering for pick-up or delivery, and for those who have come to the Market to shop in person. You have been so patient with glitches and wait lines. This Saturday looks to be a beautiful summer day for shopping outdoors. Here’s what I hope to have available: pints of red, sungold, grape, and mixed cherry tomatoes, red slicing tomatoes, heirlooms, and roma tomatoes from the field, arugula, salad mix (limited amounts), red beets, white onions, Italian bottle onions, Swiss chard, celery, green cabbage, cucumbers, small and larger zucchini and summer squash, sweet bell and Italian frying peppers, a few hot peppers, shishito peppers, a bit of eggplant, basil, parsley, oregano, red leaf lettuce heads, romaine lettuce, amaranth greens, a few hot peppers, and possibly some green beans.
