Sad to say but we haven’t been able to staff the farm enough to allow us to come to market this Saturday as hoped. Please come on out to the Patch! We are open at the Patch Thursday-Sunday from 10-5.  We’ve got tons of fun and funky fall decor, including mini pumpkins, big pumpkins, gourds, colorful flat pumpkins, and much more. And as usual we’ll have our honey, jams, dilly beans, and farm fresh eggs at the Patch. We seem to be nearing the end of the market season – but don’t worry – we’ll see you this weekend and for the remainder of the season and beyond!
This weekend, we will have:
Scones: almond peach, tomato basil, ham and swiss, raspberry chip.
Muffins: cranberry orange, lemon blueberry, pumpkin, banana chocolate chip.
Bars and Treats: gingerbread, peanut butter bars, apricot lemon, oatmeal fudge.
Rolls: pumpkin spice, apple spice, cinnamon.
Breads: English Muffin Breads: original, apple cranberry, caraway dill, cinnamon raisin.
We will definitely have pies! Flavors will vary, so come early for the full selection!
We may also have cookies, apple cider donuts, and fruit Danish.

James Pine Valley Farm
Another successful market last Saturday and thank you to all who continue to support our local vendors here at the market. We will have our usual products this week. Our farm raised chicken – whole packages, leg/thigh packages and breast packages. I am out of half packages but will have more in a few weeks. Several varieties of cheese from Hooks Cheese Co. will be available as well as baked cheese and cheese pizza crust from Brunkow Cheese Co. Also a few dozen eggs. See you at the market. Shooting Star Farm
Saturday should be sunny and seasonal for the Fall Art Tour and the last “official” market of the season. If the weather continues to stay relatively warm, several vendors – myself included – will be back for more Saturday mornings. Stay tuned! Many crops are truly slowing down, but there will be lots of options to choose from this Saturday: green cabbage, red and French breakfast radishes, beautiful lettuce heads, baby arugula, spinach, lots of sweet bell peppers along with orange and red sweet peppers; poblanos, anaheims, jalapenos, shishitos, and mini sweet peppers; autumn frost winter squash, onions, celery, fennel, baby bok choy, radicchio, carrots, colorful beets, Swiss chard, curly kale, cherry tomatoes, a very small number of miscellaneous other tomatoes, possibly some small eggplants, cilantro, parsley, thyme, and sage. Not sure if I’ll have any salad mix the weekend, but other greens are available. Remember you can preorder for Market pickup from 6pm Wednesday evening until 7pm Thursday. Order here.
