Hello MP Market Goers!

Not comfortable shopping the market or just want to stay in bed a bit longer? Many of our vendors continue to offer pre-order options.

And as usual we’ll have our honey, jams, dilly beans, and farm fresh eggs at the Patch. For the latest shovel on what’s happening in the Patch, head to our website, follow us on Facebook or Instagram or sign up for our e-newsletter. Hope to see you either at market or in the Patch soon! Another successful market last Saturday and thank you to all who continue to support our local vendors here at the market. We will have our usual products this week. Our farm raised chicken – whole packages, leg/thigh packages and breast packages. I am out of half packages but will have more in a few weeks. Several varieties of cheese from Hooks Cheese Co. will be available as well as baked cheese and cheese pizza crust from Brunkow Cheese Co. Also a few dozen eggs. See you at the market. I will not be at the market this week. All of my cards and prints are available if you would like to contact me to order something. I’m also available for portrait sessions, for families and seniors. I also photograph properties so if you have a special place you would like captured, please let me know. Hope to see you soon!

Marr’s Valley View Farm
It’s the last official outdoor market of 2021 this week. In celebration of another wonderful MP Market season this week’s special is $1.00 a pound off the cost of our most popular beef steaks. THIS IS A BIG DEAL. You ask why??? Because our prices are already under the prices in stores right now – if you’ve shopped for steaks lately you are full aware – AND you are buying directly from people you know. Just a small way to extend our appreciation for all of your support.
Have you taken the plunge with us and tried out our new website by placing your order for Market this week?

Over the Moon Soap Co.
Over the Moon Soap Company won’t be at market this Saturday!
We do have soap available for pick up at our home in Dodgeville, and can deliver orders to MP and Dodgeville one day a week. For out of towners we will ship to you at any location. Just email what you want to order to
If you’re not sure what you want, we can email you a list of our currently available scents. Our offerings change a bit with the seasons.
You can pay with cash or check, or we can email you an invoice to pay with Debit or Credit card.
We will update week by week, so check here for latest info.
Thank you for supporting our small business!

Scrappin with Joni
I have loved being part of Mineral Point Market this year. Unfortunately family and business commitments will keep me away from Mineral Point Market for the remainder of 2021. If you would like cards or any other product I bring to Market, you can email me at or call me at 608-341-8613, I have a pick up area at our home for customers to pick up orders. Follow my Facebook page Scrappin with Joni to see some projects I am creating. If you want to make your own cards, my blog has card ideas with directions for each card on my blog. I look forward to seeing you at Mineral Point Market in 2022.

Shooting Star Farm
Saturday should be sunny and seasonal for the Fall Art Tour and the last “official” market of the season. If the weather continues to stay relatively warm, several vendors – myself included – will be back for more Saturday mornings. Stay tuned! Many crops are truly slowing down, but there will be lots of options to choose from this Saturday: green cabbage, red and French breakfast radishes, beautiful lettuce heads, baby arugula, spinach, lots of sweet bell peppers along with orange and red sweet peppers; poblanos, anaheims, jalapenos, shishitos, and mini sweet peppers; autumn frost winter squash, onions, celery, fennel, baby bok choy, radicchio, carrots, colorful beets, Swiss chard, curly kale, cherry tomatoes, a very small number of miscellaneous other tomatoes, possibly some small eggplants, cilantro, parsley, thyme, and sage. Not sure if I’ll have any salad mix the weekend, but other greens are available. Remember you can preorder for Market pickup from 6pm Wednesday evening until 7pm Thursday. Order here. See you Saturday!
