Hello MP Market Goers!

Where has the summer gone!? Is anyone else shocked to see how quickly the summer is going? On the farm, the wanning of summer brings on some of our most favorite items, tomatoes being king among them.

This week at market you’ll find cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, and roma tomatoes! Whether you like to eat tomatoes on their own or in dishes, they’re a welcome treat at the end of summer. And they’ll be on both King’s Hill Farm’s & Shooting Star Farm’s tables 🎉!

For me personally, I love a good slicer for BLT’s and some romas for making salsa. If salsa making is your jam, then note too that the end of summer has brought us onions, peppers, garlic, and for those that enjoy it cilantro (no thank you 😉)!

⭐ Being the second week in August, you’ve also got a chance this Saturday to win a box full of market goodies! Be sure to look for the drawing table next to Marr’s Valley View Farms and sign up! Good luck!🍀

Here is a partial list of items at this week’s market:

Beef, Pork, Bacon, Chicken, Eggs, Cheese, Artisan Breads, Coffee, Sweet and Savory Baked Goods, Microgreens, Sweet Corn, Tomatoes of every size and color, Eggplant, Sweet & Hot Peppers, Green Beans, Cucumbers, Zucchini & Summer Squash, Fennel, Beets, Onions, Salad Mix, Basil, Lettuce Heads, Cilantro, Carrots, Garlic, Potatoes, Jams, Honey, Soups, Sauces, Salsa, Artisan Wood Products, Fall Annual Plants, and much more. Come and check it all out!

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday in Water Tower Park, Business Hwy 151 at Madison Street, Mineral Point! 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
