Just Poured Candle Co.

My name is Holly Adams, and I created Just Poured Candle Co. in 2022 with the support of my family and husband David, a Mineral Point native. Why? Well, I love candles and I love to make things. As a full-time caregiver for my husband, who suffered a C4 spinal cord injury and stroke in 2016, I found candle making as a creative outlet to help relieve everyday stress and fulfill a passion.
My mission is simple. Provide hand-crafted, non-toxic candles that add warmth and inspiration to any room. All my candles are made from 100% soy wax, from soybeans grown in the United States. I also do not use any dyes or additives, and only high-quality fragrance oils that do not contain parabens or phthalates. In addition to making candles, I make several other all natural products as well. Some of my other products include room sprays, bug & tick repellent, and lip balm.
Mineral Point Market Dates: June 10th , July 8th , August 12th , & September 9th

Shooting Star Farm

We survived the heat and I even got a bit of rain on Tuesday – .3”. Just in time to water in some spinach, lettuce, and beet transplants. It was dry by Wednesday, but it sure helped. The tractor’s still out, making planting challenging, and incorporating old crops and cover crops impossible, but my irrigation hydrant is fixed! We dug a huge hole (over 7’ deep). Rink and Galen did the dirty work scrounging the last of it. They looked like mole people, all covered in dirt and muck. Where was my phone for photos?! The hydrant has been replaced and irrigation is working without dumping hundreds of gallons back into the ground. Thank goodness! And we continue to harvest good stuff. My prediction for this week includes lettuces, salad mix, arugula, bunched beets, baby bok choi, kale, chard, scallions, basil tops, cilantro, dill, salad turnips, red radishes, and garlic scapes (move over green garlic, on to the next garlic edible). You can pre-order for Market or farm pick-up. Info and instructions are on my website. See you Saturday!

Sweet Earth Garden and Vintage China

Sweet Earth Gardens will not be at the Market this weekend. Enjoy this lovely weather and see you next week.
