Hello MP Market Goers!
Some Saturday mornings are worth lingering a little longer.
This weekend is shaping up to be one of them.
The weather is looking beautiful, our vendors will be filling the park with fresh summer produce, baked goods, flowers, meats, cheeses, and handmade treasures… and to top it all off, we’re excited to welcome the Koinonia Singers for a special morning performance.
So instead of checking one more errand off your list, why not slow down for a while?

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Grab a cup of coffee and a pastry. Listen to the music drift through Water Tower Park while you browse the market and visit with friends and neighbors.
There’s something special about live music at the market. It has a way of turning an ordinary Saturday into one you’ll remember.
Whether you stay for a song or settle in for the morning, we hope you’ll join us for one of the sweetest Saturdays of the summer.

And while you’re here, don’t forget to stock up on all your market favorites—fresh produce, locally raised meats, artisan breads, Wisconsin cheeses, honey, handmade goods, and so much more.
We’ll save a spot for you.

Koinonia Singers
Saturday, June 27th . . . Presenting . . . A little bit about Koinonia Singers: We are a group of 43 high school students from the Janesville, WI area who perform a gospel-centered musical. Each year an original show is written and directed by youth leader, Larry Schultz. The show includes both silly and serious skits and songs complete with set, costumes, choreography, and a band made up of student musicians. This year students began practice once a week in April to prepare for a tour throughout Wisconsin June 19-29. 2026 marks the 51st year for Koinonia Singers Tour.
Here is a little synopsis for the music we will present: The Kitchen Table
This is the story of an older couple remembering the spiritual happenings around their kitchen table. Two big happpenings are – First, the old couple’s renewal to their 1st love for the Lord which causes them to open their table to others. The second happening is – their son, who has been raised as a Christian, but has gone prodigal, and his coming to truly love the Lord with the words of Luke 10:27 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

Shooting Star Farm
We’ve been lucky to get some crops in and hoed between the rains. I don’t want to complain about the weather, but it has been a bit muddy with six inches of rain this month so far. We’re good! This will be my last week of carrots for a while. The new crop was partially washed out and re-planted a few weeks back and is behind schedule, but growing. I have lots of good veggies for Saturday. Here’s the planned list: Romaine, red leaf, and butter lettuces, mini lettuces, bunched beets, green cabbage, napa cabbage, sugar snap peas, broccoli, green-stem cauliflower, scallions, arugula, salad mix, curly kale, Swiss chard, lacinato kale, kohlrabi, dill, possibly cilantro, maybe some salad turnips and spinach, and possibly a few of the first zucchini (we’ll see). Looks to be a gorgeous Saturday. See you then!
Sugarface Donuts
We’ll be back in July.

WWB Studio
Wayne Banaszak taught drawing and painting and graphic design to students grade one through adults in the public schools for over thirty years. He is now sharing his artistic talents through his original watercolor pencil drawings of rural scenes from the Driftless Area of Wisconsin as well as various other subjects that complement his style of drawing. Many of the original drawings have been turned into note cards which he markets locally. New to his note card collection is a line of interesting sayings and words of wisdom. All of these will be on display at the market. It is his intention to attend all Saturday markets weather permitting. Rain and paper do not get along, so he will not be in attendance on rainy, humid days.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday in Water Tower Park, Business Hwy 151 at Madison Street, Mineral Point! 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
