Winter has finally lost it grip on Wisconsin, and though it’s still a bit chillier & wetter than some would hope, we are marching our way into spring and all that comes with it. INCLUDING, the Mineral Point Market’s OPENING DAY in Water Tower Park!
This Saturday is the day when we can once again be outdoors, connecting with friends, enjoying a cup of coffee and a treat, all while shopping and connecting with local artists, farmers, and bakers who produce unique and wonderful products that add value to our bodies, homes, and the community.
Mother’s Day is also this weekend!
Every Mom needs a bit of spoiling on Mother’s Day! Why not head up to Market Saturday morning, grab some extra treats for breakfast Sunday, maybe a card and some flowers or something fancier like a charcuterie board or hand crocheted shawl, some meat for the grill for dinner and veggies to go with and you’ve got Mom covered and pampered. Pretty easy really!
Join us for opening day this Saturday, May 7th from 8:30-11 am

Farmers Daughter Kitchen and Bakery
Well, hey there market friends!
It’s a new market season! Already?!?! For most of the winter and spring, when someone would say, “it’s finally (February, March, April, ect)”, in my mind I was saying, “Holy buckets – it’s already February, March, April”!!
Since the beginning of January, our little farm has welcomed well over 300 baby goats. And, it’s been busy… If you follow our Facebook page, Farmer’s Daughter Kitchen and Bakery, you’ll see all the cuteness and shenanigans these ‘children’ are up to!
But – those babies are a bit older now, so we can ease up on chores a bit to get back in the kitchen!! We’ve been baking on and off all winter, and now we’re ready to see all of you this weekend! Unfortunately, a cow stepped on my toes (ouch) and I won’t be able to make it to market this week. Hope to be there next Saturday!
We offer different payment options, too, for your convenience. We accept cash, check, PayPal or Square. You can place your order on Facebook and send us a message, send us an email at farmgalsbake@yahoo.com or send us a text message at 608-214-3475. We thank you for your support of us in the past!

Shooting Star Farm
Happy Spring everyone! It has been a cold, cloudy one, but winter has passes and Market season is upon us regardless of the weather. Luckily for me, I have hoop houses and lots of row cover to encourage greens to grow despite the very reluctant spring weather. For this first market, I will have spinach, salad greens, baby bok choy, salad turnips, and radishes – all from the hoop house. If you are interested in tomato plants, I will also have them for sale – likely beginning this Saturday (weather dependent!). Basil and pepper plants will make an appearance beginning on May 14th. You don’t want to put those plants out too soon anyhow. Remember last year’s May 30 frost! If you would like to pre-order for Market pick-up, you can do so here. Please adhere to the minimum order for pre-orders. They do take extra time and effort to put together. Otherwise, come shop the Market. It will be great to see everyone and looks to be a pleasant day. See you Saturday!

Of course, we haven’t forgotten your favorites from last year and will bring back our chocolate chip and oatmeal cherry cookies and the lovely hand pies. See you under the water tower! Visit our website for the complete menu at https://spensleyfarm.com.
You’ll find us at the market on May 7, June 11, August 27, and September 10.
