Don’t miss out! This is your chance to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, fresh produce, handmade crafts, and delicious treats that our talented vendors have to offer.

Aaron’s Peppers
Featuring: Fresh from the garden: Aaron’s pick for 2024
The Bulgarian Carrot Pepper*
Heat profile: up to 30,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units)
and Bulgarian Carrot HOT Pepper “Jelly”. In quotes because, by definition, it’s really a jam.
*It’s an heirloom, meaning that you can save the seeds.
How to taste a new pepper?
Take a NIBBLE at the end opposite the stem called the apex. That way, you get the flavor of the pepper with little or no heat.
At the top of the pepper is the placenta, where the seeds are attached. The placenta (not the seeds) and the pith or rib veins (the soft, lighter color connections inside the pepper) contain 89% of the capsaicin (kap SAY sin).
SO if you want to remove some of the heat from your pepper, remove the placenta and pith/rib veins.
Chile pepper taste is a combination of flavor components and a heat profile that produces a unique sensory experience for each chile pepper variety.
Thank you for exploring what the Mineral Point Market has to offer!

Just want to grab some beautiful pumpkins and gourds? The Farm Store is also open Monday-Friday 9-6 pm self-serve (no activities). At the Patch you can find our fresh picked Raspberries, Newly Dug Potatoes, Honey, Dilly Beans, and some Eggs. Calaur Farm
Our garlic is cured and ready for you! Calaur Farm hopes to see you Saturday with our mix of hardneck garlic, starting with our main varieties of Music and German Extra Hardy.
On our small family farm, we are still in the early years of growing certified organic hardneck garlic. We are having so much fun experimenting with new heirloom varieties and see how they respond to our soil and climate. Compared to most supermarket garlic, which tends to be softneck varieties, hardneck garlic has a central flowering stalk called a scape and produces fewer but larger bulbs. These varieties produce a more complex flavor, ranging from mild and sweet to lingering heat. They are also more suitable for growing in northern climates, where we plant early October and harvest in July.
This year we added two new Creole varieties, the spicy Metechi and the sweet Italian Aglio Rosso di Sulmona. If you are interested in a bulk order, find us at the market or text (608-778-8895) or email us any time.

Farmer’s Daughter Bakery and Kitchen
Attendance Unknown/Previous Post: Hey market friends!
Still. No. Goatlings. To. Snuggle…
Depressing times here on the farm. I don’t ask for much. (Just give me the babies already!!)
Silage season and soybean harvest is in full swing, so make sure you’re watching out for all the farm equipment; as when he’s not on the farm, Brian is in one of those tractors; and he’s watching for you!
This week we’ll have our tables full of our regular scheduled baking items, but, it’s time… Time for the apple cider donuts to make the annual appearance! And no – these are not from a mix that you just add the liquid and/or eggs to. It’s a full on ‘boil the cider down to concentrate it and the flavor’ and then add the rest of the ingredients.
Here’s what we’ll have this week:
Scones: cheddar onion dill, ham and cheese, cranberry orange, apple cinnamon.
Muffins: banana chocolate chip, lemon raspberry, apple streusel.
Bars and Treats: apricot lemon, carmelitas, S’mores, caramel apple cheesecake.
Sweet Rolls: cinnamon, candy apple, berry cream.
And, yes, those apple cider donuts! See you all this weekend!
Remember to pre-order by Noon on Friday! And for goat updates, be sure to check out our Facebook page! See you soon!
Thank you and we’ll see you again soon!

Stop in and say hi as I will be assisting her with her market sales. Thank you again. Just Poured Candle Co.
My name is Holly Adams, and I created Just Poured Candle Co. in 2022 with the support of my family and husband David, a Mineral Point native. Why? Well, I love candles and I love to make things. As a full-time caregiver for my husband, who suffered a C4 spinal cord injury and stroke in 2016, I found candle making as a creative outlet to help relieve everyday stress and fulfill a passion.
My mission is simple. Provide hand-crafted, non-toxic candles that add warmth and inspiration to any room. All my candles are made from 100% soy wax, from soybeans grown in the United States. I also do not use any dyes or additives, and only high-quality fragrance oils that do not contain parabens or phthalates.
In addition to making candles, I make several other all natural products as well. Some of my other products include room sprays, bug and tick repellent, and lip balm.
