Shooting Star Farm
Some much needed rain has transformed the dry, crunchy roadways in the field back to green. It’s nice to not drag hoses around every day as we transplant more summer and fall crops. This week’s product list includes multi-color bunched beets (red, gold, white, Chioggia), red beets, scallions, garlic scapes, carrots, zucchini and summer squash, large lettuce heads (romaine, red leaf, green leaf), mixed smaller lettuces, salad mix, endive, Swiss chard, kale, cilantro, dill, basil tops, possibly some broccoli heads. The sugar snap pea plants are not producing well, but I hope to have a small amount. If you’d like to pre-order for Market pickup, you can do so here until 7pm Thursday night. See you Saturday!
