Saturday June 4th – Open 8:30-11am

Well, we’re here folks. School is out for the summer and that means the kids are going to be grazing ALL DAY LONG! Like me, I’m sure you want them to be able to grab some healthy options when they’re foraging in the fridge. My trick, it’s gotta be easy because kids are fast.🏃‍♂️ Therefore, I work to have veggies cut up and dip at the ready. Plus, there’s got to be choices! Ranch dip with Greek yogurt or maybe some honey mustard. Radishes, kohlrabi, or really any veggie cut up and ready to go.

Add to the veggies and dips with cheese cubes/sticks and summer sausage/beef sticks giving them the protein punch they need to keep going throughout the day.👊

Head up to market Saturday pack to your fridge with healthy and delicious snacks for your kiddos.

Good luck & Happy Summer!🍀☀️

Farmers Daughter Kitchen and Bakery

Hey market friends!
Whoo! Busy, busy in the fields, we are! Brian is a new member of the chopping crew for the dairy, so the girls and I have been *attempting* to pick up the slack at our farm. We sure are grateful for all of the little things he does around the farm to make things easier for us, not to mention the extra long days getting first crop hay in for many of our local dairy farms. And what better way to celebrate those local farms with June Dairy Month! Eat that cheese! Drink that milk! Ice cream for breakfast? Yes – it’s allowed. Yogurt is delicious and nutritious! Let’s not forget the butter!
Speaking of butter, we’ll be using plenty of it within our baked items this week at market! On average, we use 12-15 pounds of salted butter and 5 pounds of sweet cream butter per week for all of our baked goods.
This week, we’ll be offering the following:
Scones: cheddar onion dill, bacon asparagus, cinnamon rhubarb, maple butter.
Muffins: banana chocolate chip, lemon blueberry, caramel latte.
Bars and Treats: date bars, rhubarb custard, double orange brownies, cranberry walnut, lime Bars.
Sweet Rolls: cinnamon, orange cream.
Muffin Bread: regular, apple cranberry, rye caraway.
Pies: 9″ – apple, peach blueberry
6″ – strawberry rhubarb, bumbleberry
Please pre-order by Noon Friday.
We offer different payment options for your convenience. We accept cash, check, PayPal or Square. You can place your order on Facebook and send us a message, send us an email at farmgalsbake@yahoo.com  or send us a text message at 608-214-3475.
We’ll see you Saturday! Thank you!
