This Saturday is the official last market of the season 😞. Be sure to stock up this Saturday as it may be your last chance to fill your pantry, freezer, or gift cupboard. However, we have several vendors that are hoping to extend the season, weather permitting. Unfortunately, to keep everyone safe we won’t be moving indoors this season. Please stay tuned for weekly emails confirming yet another week of Wisconsin bounty in the park. In the meantime, scroll down to find out which vendors will be attending market this Saturday and what you should be stocking up on.

Bures Berry Patch
This Saturday will be our last in Mineral Point 😩. Be sure to stock up on honey, squash, and pumpkins while they’re still convenient. It’s fall at the Patch and we’ve got all the colors that go with it! Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, even Black pumpkins to make your porch look sensational! We’ll be at market this Saturday with loads of great pumpkins as well as delicious acorn, spaghetti, and butternut squash, plus honey. Want to pre-order for curbside pickup? Our online store is open now for pre-orders. Can’t make it to market this week? Come visit us at the Patch! We’re open Thursday – Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm (thru October 30th). At the Patch you can find fabulous pumpkins for decorations and some delicious squash for the dinner table. Bring the kids/grandkids with for an adventure! We’ve got free hayrides, a kiddie corn maze, and they can feed our chickens! They’ll love it! Hey market shoppers!
The weather this week sounds great, with a chill down around the weekend. Now is a great time to stock up on a some bakes goods for you and your family! This week we are offering quite the variety, so be sure to pick your favorites. With our freezer fill-up, we’re also offering a discount on large orders. For every 6 items muffins or scones ordered, pay $10. For whole batches of any certain dessert bar, which is a 9″ by 13″ inch, or 12 of our regular sized bars, pay only $18, save $6 per batch! Bars are $2 otherwise. All of our options this week freeze very well. So please, take advantage even if you’re not filling your freezer!

Depending on the weather, we may extend the market for a couple more weeks but the sight is yet to be determined. Watch our newsletter for further information. Thank you to everyone for making our pre-order sales go so smoothly all summer. James Pine Valley will be available for home delivery after the market ends. We can use egg cartons anytime so if you have some on hand bring them to the market. This week we will have our usual chicken packages including whole, half, leg/thigh packages or breast packages. We will also have a few dozen eggs and a few varieties of Hooks cheese on hand including colby, mild, medium, baby swiss, bacon, parmesan, brick, pesto jack, 4 year, triple play, blue, ewe calf to be kidding, and sheep milk cheddar. * we will e-mail or message your order total Friday night by 10:00 p.m. so you can have your check ready at pickup;
* we will set up by the curb below the visitors center – you can drive/walk up and pick up your order and drop off your check for a quick transaction.

Shooting Star Farm
Looks like a frosty morning on Saturday. Bundle up and come to Market for some cool-weather goodies. Here’s what I hope to have this week: small and medium lettuce heads, salad mix, possibly arugula, curly kale, green and red cabbage, red radishes, leeks, shallots, eschalions (bottle onion/shallot cross), honey nut winter squash, a smattering of tomatoes, orange carrots, mixed carrots (purple, yellow, white, orange), parsley, sage, the last of the sweet and hot peppers, and possibly some Romanesco broccoli. Onions are sold out for the season.

Hello everyone! Sweet Earth Gardens, I believe will not be at the last market due to the cold nights coming at the end of the week. It is always sad to be done with another market season.
