Bures Berry Patch
Sorry we haven’t been able to make it to market with our strawberries this season. It was a tricky year managing the Patch, it’s employees, it’s customers, and Covid. If you wanted to pick strawberries, the time is NOW. There’s just a few opportunities left. We’re on a day by day schedule until Farmer Ed tells us there are no more left to pick. Don’t delay or the season will be over. Good news, we will be back at market Friday and we are harvesting our way through the seasons! This Friday we will have Sugar Snap Peas and Baby Red Potatoes in addition to our Local Honey and Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup! Delicious! We’ll also be able to once again open our online store for pre-orders. To learn more about what’s happening in the Patch check out our website, sign up for our newsletter, or follow us on Facebook. Hope to see you in the Patch or at market Friday! Farmer Kathy and Farmer Ed

Happy Harbor Tees
Hi there! Allow me to e-introduce myself, I’m Esther Hill an artist who lives in Dodgeville. I’m an oil painter and I recently started to design t-shirts. You may have seen me at the market without knowing it because we just don’t know each other yet. I love food. I love the earth, animals, and people who produce it for us. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mineral Point Market, I designed a shirt for the occasion and I’m happy to share it.
Even during this uncertain time filled with hardships, we have loads to be thankful for including our community and access to nutritious food grown by our neighbors. It’s a feat to be celebrated having a thriving market in a community for quarter of a century. Now more than ever it is important to gather at the table, albeit 6 feet apart.
You can order t-shirts now, the opportunity will be open now through June 29th and then we go to press so don’t delay. Be a cheerleader for delicious, local food!
The details:
1. Unisex adult t-shirts run true to size and are forest green heather.
2. “What’s on the front? I can’t quite tell from the image mock-up…” The whimsical style depicts some of your market favorites including basil, strawberries, tomato, honey, cheese and lettuce.
3. T-shirts are $25 each, add $2 for XXL. (No extra tax)
4. Payment is due at the time of your pickup. Cash preferred, Square and Venmo payment options are also available.
5. Pickup days are at market during normal market hours of 8:30 am-11 am on the following Saturdays: July 11, 18, and 25 and August 1st.
To order, please email happyharbortees@gmail.com with your first & last name and the sizes you would like to reserve. Order now through June 29th at 10pm.
If you have any questions please email happyharbortees@gmail.com or call/text me at 608-425-9858.
Thanks for supporting this great market, local artists and food producers! I can’t wait to meet you at the market.

Scrappin’ With Joni
I will have handmade cards for all occasions; birthdays, anniversaries, babies, get well, retirement, sympathy. Sending a handmade card is a great way to say “I care”. Check out my journals, notepads and bookmarks. Follow my Facebook page Scrappin with Joni to see some of the product I will have at the market. I look forward to seeing you at the Mineral Point Market, stop
by and say hi. I am under the red canopy. Please note: if it is raining I will not be at Market (water and paper are not a good combination).

Shooting Star Farm
Come see us this Friday from 4-6pm! The Market may be a short and sweet, and on a different day, but everything else remains the same. Pre-orders can still be placed for curbside or stand pick-up starting Wednesday at 6pm until Thursday 7pm for Friday pickup. Go to www.shootingstarfarmwi.com for more info. Thanks to everyone who pre-orders! Also, I’m considering adding a home delivery service to Dodgeville and Mineral Point. Customers would order Mondays and receive doorstep delivery on Wednesday afternoon for a small delivery fee. If this option interests you, please send me a quick note at starfarm@mhtc.net. I am looking forward to having a Saturday off, but if it dries out I will be spending my morning putting in some of the 1000’s of transplants that having been waiting for dry ground. Boy it’s wet out here! The heat has helped ripen the summer squash, so I’ll have a bit more for pre-orders and Market. Other items available this week include carrots, beets, kohlrabi, scallions, fennel, napa cabbage, cucumbers, large and medium lettuce heads of all sorts, basil, parsley, cilantro, dill, curly kale, Lacinato kale, Swiss chard, salad mix, arugula, and possibly spinach (possibly…).
